Love Beyond Life - (2/5)
I’ve just finished reading this book so I thought I’d post a little review on it. I’m an avid fan of Angels & Airwaves myself so I was quite excited to read a book based on their music, sadly I was disappointed. There was certain parts of this book that I enjoyed and learnt quite a bit from but overall the book isn’t anything special and towards the end I just lost interest. Most of it just seemed like some students diary with a short tale towards the end. I get the story behind it, but personally I think the only reason people are buying it is because of the band it’s based on and it’s just running on a name.

I feel like a bad person for saying this but I’m not really fussed on Love Part II. Saturday Love and Surrender are the only songs that really stand out on that album, in fact Surrender is their second best song ever in my opinion, it’s just a shame about the rest of the album. Maybe Tom was in a bit over his head trying to record two albums and make a movie all at the same time as well as balancing out all his other side projects too. I’m yet to see Love the movie, it looks really cool though so lets hope that makes up for it!
